Jane Thompson has played in working bands for many years in a variety of
musical styles such as Motown, Latin/funk, Rock, and Country. She performed in
opening acts for Etta James, Mike Bloomfield, Merla Saunders and Friends,
Hot Tuna, Dino Valenti, Commander Cody, Peter Yarrow and David Bromberg.
She began playing jazz with an 18 piece swing band in 2006.

In 2008 Jane discovered gypsy jazz & hasn't been the same since.
Jane currently plays 2nd bass in the J A Z Z  G I T A N lineup of
"le jazz hot" bassists.
